Treatment of Other Primary Headache
Kim Jee-Young

Abstract
Other primary headaches include a number of primary headache disorders that are clinically heterogeneous - primary cough headache, primary exercise headache, primary stabbing headache, primary thunderclap headache and so on. Because such similar headaches may be associated with other disorders, it is necessary to exclude secondary headaches of another disorder by prompt brain imaging studies or other proper tests, when they first occur. Because of their poorly understood pathogenesis and rarity, their treatment can¡¯t help but depending on anecdotal reports or small uncontrolled trials. This article reviews the clinical characteristics and managements of some other primary headaches, based on The International Classification of Headache Disorders 3rd edition (beta version).
